On My Craft Table - Pocket Letters and creative mail

Yet more pocket letters

 and other creative

 snail mail...

Sooo.....I've been busy...

Yep...my craft table looks like a tornado decided to come by, say hello and do a little dance...

And why is that when you want to be creative you have to do none creative and - I hate to say it - boring things, like presentations and working...

Anyway...moaning aside...here is some projects I've been up to recently...

Pocket letter!!

Here's a lovely black, gold and white pocket letter.

I have so much gold things right now. I'm just in love with the colour - especially with glitter attached!

For my pocket letters I seem to like having a shaker pocket where I put sequins of different sizes and other flat-ish charms or beads. In the middle of this one is a sticker that sadly lost it's stick so I put it in there :) So sense is wasting a pretty sticker!

I love decorating the outside to, especially down the spine since that is the ugliest part - don't you think? I used two types of ribbon and then attached a chain with charms attached with jump rings. I attached the entire chain with a larger jump ring into the tied ribbon.

Letter

This is a snail mail booklet with an Alice in Wonderland theme. I seem to be doing this them a lot lately! I just love it!

My pallie Vanessa and I have this running letter game where we set a challenge for each other and the next time one of us sends a letter it has to be a certain theme from the 2 choices that has been set.

My challenge was movie or leaf. I picked Alice in Wonderland since I'm totally in love with this theme right now! (see my previous projects! I'm a bit obsessed!)

I used a plain sheet of black card stock, folded it 3 times (but each fold was not the same size), covered it in patterned paper I bought from Etsy. I also found pictures from etsy to decorate the front, completed with ribbons, adhesive lace, a large charm and an 'open me' tag I also got from etsy.

The letter I just used washi tape that matched the colours. You can't see it, but I also used tea pot and tea-bag stamps on the letter!
